GOP lawmakers call on State Department to designate Taliban as terrorist group



In a joint resolution Tuesday in the House and Senate, Republicans Sen. Lindsay Graham of South Carolina and Rep. Mike Waltz of Florida called on the State Department to designate the Afghan Taliban as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO.)
