Copa America: Full schedule, match timing, squads, live telecast and streaming
Copa America will finally get underway in Brazil late on Sunday, (2:30 am, Monday, IST), with hosts Brazil taking on Venezuela. The tournament, which was meant to be hosted by Colombia and Argentina in 2020, was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is now being held in Brazil in the backdrop of protests in the country.
CONMEBOL, the South American football confederation, decided to hand the hosting rights to Brazil, just two weeks before the tournament was scheduled to begin. The tournament will run from June 13, 2021 to July 10, 2021.

A total of ten teams with participate in Copa America and will be divided into two groups of 5 each. Group A will have Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay, while Group B will see hosts Brazil take on Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru.
Copa America live broadcast in India will be done by Sony Sports Network on its four channels, namely Sony Six, Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3, Sony Ten 4.
Sony LIV will live stream Copa America matches on its app and website.

After the start of the EURO 2020, football now shifts focus to South America where the prestigious Copa America is set to start. In what can be called a knee-jerk reaction, Brazil was made hosts a fortnight before the start as Argentina and Colombia had to give up the rights due to Covid-19 surge and political unrest respectively.
The tournament will see 10 top sides participate out of which four teams would go through. The 10 teams would be divided in two groups which means two teams per group would go to the next level.

Colombia was removed as a host nation on May 20, while Argentina suffered similar consequences on May 30 and on June 1, Brazil were confirmed as hosts just two weeks before the event could kick off.
While the capital city Brasilia's Mane Garrincha will host the opening match on 13 June, the final will be played at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro on 10 July.
10 teams divided into two groups of 5 teams each will vie for the eighteenth edition of Copa America, which was formerly known as South American Championship since it's inception in 1975.
The top four teams will then progress to the quarterfinal stage with the winners of Group A taking on 4th placed team in Group B, while the runners up of Group A will take on 3rd placed side of Group B.
And likewise the other two quarterfinals will be contested between Group B runners up and 3rd placed side of Group A, while the Group B winners will take on 4th placed side of Group A.
Two heavyweights in Lionel Messi and Neymar will do battle as the latter will look to defend the title with Brazil, while the former will look to win his first major title with the senior Argentina national team.
